Herr Todorov verfügt über mehr als 10 Jahre Branchenerfahrung mit Prozessentwicklungsprogrammen im frühen bis späten Stadium, trägt zu vorbereitenden Studien zu Prüfarzneimitteln bei, unterstützt externe Partnerschaften und berät im Bereich Zelltherapie und AAV-Gentherapie. Bevor er zu IPS kam, war er für die strategische Leitung der Entwicklung neuartiger AAV-Herstellungs- und Analyseplattformen durch die Bewertung neuer Technologien und Projekte zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Verfahren verantwortlich. George entwickelte und implementierte ein Scale-up von AAV-Prozessen für transiente Expressionssysteme in Säugerzellen und nutzte hierfür DOE-Ertragsoptimierungsstudien.
Seine praktische und beratende Erfahrung umfasst die Gestaltung und Koordinierung von Laborerweiterungen und GMP-Einrichtungen für verschiedene Zelltherapie- und AAV-Prozess-Scale-up-Operationen. Als akribische, wissbegierige und datenorientierte Führungspersönlichkeit legt George einen Schwerpunkt auf der Förderung und Entwicklung von Teams und Organisationen. Er hat technisches Personal in der AAV-Prozessentwicklung und -Produktion vom Auftauen der Zellen bis zur endgültigen Formulierung geschult und geleitet.
